Video game of Thrones petition reaches 1M signatures ahead of ending

Life is short, tough and, most likely, eventually useless. In this age of instant fan service, it is very important to keep in mind that you can’t always get what you desire. That goes double when it comes to the final season of a precious television series (I’m taking a look at you, The Wire). TELEVISION, like life, rarely has a satisfying ending.

However possibly the internet– the reason for and solution to all of life’s issues— can fix that. Inflamed Video game of Thrones fans have required to that bastion the bastion of fan annoyance (no, not that one) Change.org in a futile hope of getting a remake of the show’s eighth and final series to end thing they way they desire.

As the petition has travelled past 1 million signatures, its creators have penned a forecast and spoiler note to let signers understand where things stand. Tempering expectations for the possibility of a reshoot, it keeps in mind that the state of the world requires escapism through sci-fi and dream like GoT and Star Wars.

” I didn’t make this petition to be an entitled, whiny fan,” the petition’s developer writes. “I made it due to the fact that I was immensely disappointed and required to vent. Do I have an option? I’ve got plenty of ideas, but no, I’m not a Hollywood writer. However you don’t need to be a mechanic to understand your vehicle is broken.”

Who understands, perhaps tonight’s last episode will make whatever right. Possibly it will be so good that the world’s corporations and federal governments will join forces to end war, wipe out poverty and create a diet plan soda that doesn’t taste like a liquified pencil eraser. Or perhaps we’ll all go back to work to work on Monday understanding that it, like everybody could have been much better. And possibly, just maybe true change begins with us, beginning with canceling that HBO account

Or perhaps not. Barry is still quite great.
